智能材料与结构专业是2025年欧博游戏官网获批的新专业。本专业拥有一支实力雄厚、结构合理、科研和教学能力强的师资队伍，现有专任教师 20人，其中教授6人，副教授8人，有留学背景的教师8人，省部级人才5人。系部教师全部具有博士学位，均毕业于中国科学院大学、四川大学、西北工业大学、重庆大学等国内外知名高校，科研水平高、教学经验丰富。本专业依托材料科学与工程（一级学科学位授权点）和材料与化工硕士授权点，紧密结合人工智能、智能制造、智能建造和智慧交通等领域的人才需求，立足智能制造强国战略，面向地方经济新旧动能转换，培养能够胜任智能制造相关领域工作的高素质应用型技术人才。

The major of Intelligent Materials and Structures was newly approved by Chongqing Jiaotong University in 2025. This major features a remarkable faculty team. The team members are highly proficient in their fields, have a well-structured composition, and possess outstanding research and teaching capabilities. Currently, the faculty comprises 20 members, including 6 professors, 8 associate professors, 8 returnee scholars with overseas education backgrounds, and 5 recipients of provincial/ministerial-level talent awards. All faculty members hold doctoral degrees from renowned domestic and international institutions, such as the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sichuan University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and Chongqing University, which reflects their high academic attainments and rich teaching experience. Based on the Materials Science and Engineering (a first-tier discipline degree-granting program) and the Materials and Chemical Engineering master's program, this major is in line with the national strategy of building a smart manufacturing powerhouse. It also meets the talent requirements in emerging fields like artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, smart construction, and intelligent transportation. The goal is to cultivate high-quality, application-oriented technical professionals who can contribute to the transformation of local economies and perform outstandingly in smart manufacturing-related industries.
